Sheila Mae Dorey

Sheila Mae Dorey passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the age of 61. A passionate hair stylist who loved to laugh, fish, travel, and music. Sheila was a hair stylist for 45 years after graduating from school. She loved to play her guitar and play cards. Sheila is survived by her loving and devoted husband and best friend of 42 years, David Dorey, she is the apple of his eye; daughter, Skyla Dorey (Francis Dussault); son, Joshua Dorey; nephew, Wade Young; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Donald Butler; uncle, Perry Butler; aunt, Sadie Weir; as well as several aunts and uncles on her father’s side; and her grandparents, Sarah and Henry Butler and Mae and Clayton Aalders. A private graveside service will be held in New Ross Baptist Cemetery, New Ross. Donations in memory may be made to Valley Hospice or the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation.
