Helen Louise Sheffield

Helen Louise Sheffield – 74, of New Minas, passed away peacefully in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on Friday, December 30, 2022 with loved ones by her side. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Charles Watson Pemberton and Joan Thompson (Easton) Pemberton. Helen was a homemaker for most of her life raising her children and helping with her grandchildren.

In her spare time Helen loved watching baseball and rooting for her favorite team the Toronto Blue Jays. Helen enjoyed things such as knitting, gardening and doing crossword/word search puzzles. She was a simple woman and was loved dearly, and her company will be missed by many.

Helen will be deeply missed by her children, Kim and Chuck Sheffield; stepchildren, Stephen, Kim and Annette Crocker; grandchildren and the lights of her life, Nakeeta Scofield and Tanisha Lenihan; step-grandchildren, Dale and Kayla; step-great granddaughter, Maddi; and several siblings, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory may be made to the IWK Foundation.
