Robert Leroy "Bob" Creemer

Robert Leroy "Bob" Creemer, 68, of Lakeville, passed away peacefully in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on Monday, October 3, 2022 surrounded by his family. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Kathleen "Kay" (Bond) Creemer and the late Walter "Dub" Baltzer.

He was a man who devoted his life to his work and his family. He was a custodian at Central Kings for several years, but his love of farm work was his true calling. He worked at Dykeview Farms, Vernon Mills Farm and Greg Whitney’s until his retirement. He loved fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandkids. A few of his favourite things to do were playing cards with Gordon and Ethel, going to the camper at Sylvia and Don’s and long talks on the phone with Skip.

Bob is survived by his wife and best friend of 46 years, Dorothy (Dominey); daughters, Jennifer (Leo) Johnstone, Cambridge; and Christina (Dan) Hobson, Truro; brothers, Harry, Lakeville; Percy (Kathy), Lakeville; and Stewart, Waterville; sisters, Cindy (Cecil) Dominey, Lakeville; and Kathleen Hyde (Allen Tooker), Lakeville; grandchildren, Jacqueline and Shelby Johnstone and Patrick Hobson; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Jacqueline.

Thank you to Cecil Bond for providing a beautiful hand-crafted urn. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2022 in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating. Please bring a chair if you would like to be seated for the service.
